A character sheet of a original character
The story’s prologue:
The crown prince of the Great Isles is at first out sailing on his grand tour. A taste of freedom. But duty is always close for a royal. He ports at the Sun’s Golden Kingdom. He is tasked to try to open up passage past the Golden kingdom for the Great Isles. He isn’t very successful and but during the negotiations meets the king’s fifth child and third daughter. They fall head over heels in love. Queue song.
The two of them marry in the Golden Kingdom and their union speeds the crown prince’s mission to a success.
The crown prince cuts his grand tour short and returns home with his mission complete and his new bride on his arm.
Returning home suddenly married to a foreign princess without conferring with his father or even informing of his nuptials, angers both the court and the king and queen.
She is not whom they wanted the crown prince to marry, nor will the pale people of their land warm to this foreign princess who will one day be their queen.
The king informs his son of unease brewing at the country border and it is the crown prince’s duty to see to the unrest. He is forced to leave his new bride alone surrounded by people who want her gone.
She must win over the royal couple, the court and the people. Not to mention traverse malignant gossip, slander and maybe even pure assassination attempts.
At first she will try to win them over by following their rules, the norms and restrictions set by this new society and country.
Soon how ever she will realize that the cards are stacked against her and she will have to use all of her clever mind, wit and charm to change their minds and find allies. She needs to not let herself be trod on, nor let herself be changed in to something she is not.
She will become the Queen of Gold.
He's more of a supporting character in my mind.
We the audience get introduced to the Sun's Golden kingdom along side him and fall in love with the Golden princess with him. He is a sun-kissed happy adventurer who's optimistic personality wins over our main character the foreign princess quite quickly.
But is only in the first 15-esk minutes of the story and then in the last few as well. At the end he returns to see his princess has survived the treacherous court and won over the kingdom.
I am sure her radiant glory makes him fall in love with her all over again.
The Princess' character sheet:
Hm, I'd kind'a hoped you'd come up with a few lines about how things are going on his end while his wife's back home. But I guess there isn't much to say, especially since the story's on the other side.
I haven't thought much about his part of the adventure. it mainly being in muddy cold tents looking for fictitious trouble at the border and writing to his lonely wife.
He meets a young commoner man at the front who becomes a good friend and much later, when our Blue prince becomes king he wishes his son to marry the oldest daughter of this now baron and general.
But that's the story of His and the golden queen's son.
The son who has to pay the price of his father's hasty love-marriage and marry a pale girl from their own kingdom. just to appease the court and people of the realm.
It started with four daughters of a first generation baron/general and those girls' stories, then it expanded. I got more interested in their mother and then I got even more interested in the queen/mother of one of the love interests (I do love stories. it's all I do. I'm boring that way) and the queens story was the most interesting. Maybe cuz it wasn't a pure "lovestory" with other elements but instead a "court intrigue" with love elements
So to put it lightly. This story has it's own world.
In terms of couples (again I work in love stories) I have eight love stories(more or less love) in that world. Donno what to do with them, but I have them
I can't fall asleep you see and the only way I have found to trick myself in to falling asleep is to tell myself stories and then drift off in to dreaming the stories.
so I work on stories I use for nothing every night. scenes and character background and all of that. It's how I relax.
This is just one of many worlds and many stories. I need to sleep ever night after all
...sometimes I think about random fanfiction things while waiting for sleep (maybe alternate endings for fics I've read, or episodes of shows, or maybe just a vague idea that isn't going to go anywhere). But, if I start thinking about one of the fics I'm working on, it can get me a little hyper and keep me up instead. If I think of an idea for something, then I have to write down what I'd thought of before I forget it. And sometimes that can lead to thinking of more ideas. ...I've never been too good with original stories. I need some existing story/characters to base ideas off of.
Had he informed them, they would have tried to stop it by any means and so he would not be allowed to marry the one he loved. His parents and the court wanted him to marry closer to home, a neighbouring princess.
And though his country will try to frame her as a useless bride to the prince. she sure isn't, she brings allays and trade and wealth with her like many royal marriages do. Not to mention, the union made the prince mission a success.
